Multi-Residential
Kew Palm House
Bellevue Hill, NSW
Studio IZ was engaged to review the approved landscape design and develop the scheme through the detailed design phase, working closely with the architectural and engineering teams to support the successful realisation of the design vision.
Set on a steep site with complex geological conditions and significant topographical change, the project required a sensitive and highly coordinated approach to levels, structures and landscape detailing, while responding carefully to the established character of the site and its surrounding context.

Design Development
Building on the successful DA-approved landscape scheme by Dangar Barin Smith Landscape Architects, IZ team explored further design opportunities to enhance accessibility and strengthen connections between key outdoor spaces.

Site Investigation
Site investigations provided an important opportunity to review the evolving site conditions, with particular attention to sensitive boundary interfaces, available soil depths and the suitability of planting within constrained areas.
The landscape design was progressively refined in response to these findings, balancing the practical requirements of construction with the intent of the approved scheme and the long-term establishment of the proposed planting.
